this for a guy that couldn't get an interview at the school he saved from trashing it's FB program and wasn't in coaching this past yr. How does this make sense?

Easy.........Miles's pay stayed the same.
And He is a former Head coach with legitiment pro and college football experience.........
Using his UL experience as his only gauge as a coach is BS.

Don't seem so surprised..........Miles's said himself in the article from sporting news, that money wasn't as important as being able to keep his assistants comfortable and happy.

Why do you give a shite what he's making right now?
He didn't get the Tulsa interview because they were dead set on hiring a guy who'd never leave them and some were still bitter. Many of the fans wanted him back pretty badly. You should stop using this argument, it's dumb.

Really? Come on options are limited? You are talking about a former head coach making 1.5 at UL a mere 2 years ago. A guy who took a WR coaching job to deal with personal family issues.

im with books. i dont mind paying coordinators top dollar, once theyve earned it- like chief. im a little uneasy about paying krag so much, but before i really throw a fit, i'll wait and see how it works out on the field.
