He coached Terrence Cody, Eltoro Freeman and John Jenkins there...sounds like a good hire

Tremendous hire by UCA. Multiple schools have looked at him, he was waiting on the exact right shot. Southland conference is gonna be tougher than it already is. Campbell is a great coach. Coached in the SEC, and won D2 championship at Delta State in 2000.

When Hud was first hired, he had a deal to make Steve Campbell his offensive coordinator but Campbell changed his mind before it became official. Supposed to be a solid offensive mind.

Campbell is a great guy & coach. Surprised he took uca job over others like southeastern or assistant jobs at bcs schools. I think he stayed at mgccc so long because he liked having more family time & staying out of the spot light. Think he will do good wherever he goes.

I am guessing whenever Mullen leaves/gets fired that it will be between Hudspeth and this guy for head coach.
