I don't know why, but I would be disappointed with that. I like to hire established people.

two guys who just helped coach a team to the national title
we could go and hire a coach from a team that just fired it's coach becuase they did not win enough

that should make some happy, if this happens we can hire a coach to concentrate solely on special teams

Muschamp has already been "purchased" by Texas without so much a nibble by Miles/LSU (That we know of) and now he's gonna let Tenuta get away in favor of Mallory/Peveto. Doesn't sound like Miles. Not a smart move it happens. LSU should be able to hire anybody in the country. I don't care for this "promoting assistants" thing. (If that actually goes down)......
