Candidate List with availability dates

Here is the list of candidates and when their hiring would be able to be announced (waiting on conference championship games or playoff pairings). An * = the coach has either signed a new deal or has given a strong public denial. I realize some of these are unrealistic, I'm just including them as they have been mentioned on this board. Let me know who I miss or have wrong...

I would think if we get to Wednesday and there isn't an announcement yet then you can cross off the entire first group.

Not my pick at all, but Bill O'Brien has been mentioned on the board and should be added to the list. He would go in group 3 or 4.

Good point. I put him in the first group as its common for coordinators to be announced as hires prior to championship games

He’s an OC. He’s available now. It’s not unheard of for OC’s to take jobs while their teams are still in the postseason. Remember Kiffin to FAU
