Can we take TAM DC?

I think Elko is a great DC and he's done extremely well this season.

Interestingly though here is a side by side of his D vs LSU with like opponents:

Arkansas
Aggie: 20 pts/443 yds (Arky was killing their D until KJ got hurt)
LSU: 16 pts/283 yds (OT included)

Miss St
Aggie: 26 pts/438 yds
LSU: 25 pts/486 yds (most yards and pts came after game was in hand)

Bama
Aggie: 38 pst/522 yds
LSU: 20 pts/308 yds

Auburn
Aggie: 3 pts/226 yds
LSU: 24 pts/453 yds

Ole Miss
Aggie: 29 pts/504 yds
LSU: 31 pts/470 yds

Average
Aggie: 23.2 pts/426.6 yds
LSU: 23.2/400 yds

Aggie had a much better offense which took the pressure off and the Auburn game skewed the results but otherwise LSU as a whole played better D.

Probably not but I am all for an aggie sooner double melt.

The last 5 games A&M has a sizeable lead in offensive yards and points per game (31.8 to 22.8). You have 2 RBs that should eclipse 1k yards and Calzada has improved where our QB play has gotten worse.

Honestly Aggie vs LSU is more a battle of whose offense is worse and it's debatable, but at least you are trending in a better direction.

If the past 2 games are what Daronte is actually capable of, then we REALLY should keep him. No one has pushed bama around like that in quite some time.
