FWIW it seems like Herman is MOST likely to flip Moses.

The same guys who lost to Navy and SMU. Look, all Im saying is that Jimbo is the safer hire with better odds for success than Tom Herman who is just like these other flavor of the year coaches that have a 50% chance of working out.

will probably cost us Ed Orgeron

People act like we never recruited well before Ed Orgeron was at LSU. We will be just fine and if the HC puts us in position to win games, the recruiting will take care if its self.

This. The guy has created the Ogre cult around La. There are other strong recruiters out there. We will survive O.

With Jimbo, you know we're going to be reeling in top 3 classes every year.

Why do posters pretend to know stuff they can't possibly know?

Navy is 8-2 and is a pretty good team with a hard offense to defend. SMU is their only bad loss. I think the way they dominated Louisville and OU bigger than the slip up against the always crappy SMU. I agree with you that Jimbo is obviously the safer choice and he has done a great job at FSU. I'm just saying I don't doubt Herman would do fine recruiting.

The fact that he is pulling 4*s and a 5* to a non P5 school tells you all you need to know.

He has more impressive wins and best Jimbo h2h

They have had injuries and they are still only Houston

They were bound to drop a game they shouldn't.. the navy loss was close with lots of mishandles and navy had an impressive home winning streak..

Even Saban had bad lossss with great wins his first gig. So sick of hearing about Houston's losses.

LSU gets by games like that on talent alone. Houston really isn't that good but he maximizes them.. it's more impressive what he has done. Really remarkable. His teams win big time games and that's what we need to get over the hump. A coach who prepare and scheme for big time games!

Want so freaking bad.

Exactly smu was a bad loss but they have much more pressure knowing they were done after the other loss and knowing their coach was likely gone..

We aren't Houston. Not sure why people nitpick him like that and ignore just how impressive he has been in every big time game against far superior talent..

But it's okay Jimbo has more losses and got blown out by a top team thst Houston throttled.

I'd like to see how many top 25 ranked teams both coaches have beaten over the past two seasons.
