Yeah, it's official...I'm not gonna be able to accomplish shite for the rest of this day. So fricking pumped right now.
If Gus and Dyer were staying on good terms, i would be fapping non-stop until spring practice.

I hope our OC hire is as good as this one seems to be.

No way.

And we're going to pair him with Kerwin Bell's stache to give us the Stache Coordinator Twins.

Wow, sounds like Chiz offered Gus money plus on this one. Great hire.

Does this mean a small name OC hire for you guys?

Hopefully the Auburn D will be feared again soon. I'm ashamed of our D these past few years.

Maybe "3rd and BVD" won't become a common saying around here.

We've also completely given up on the idea of a basketball slush fund.

“From the beginning of this process, I had one person in mind, and that was Brian,” Chizik said.

Lots of incorrect insiders out there.

Outstanding hire, and say what you will about Chiz but he runs a tight ship. Don't think anyone saw this coming

Not in the least. Us fans were aiming low when obviously CGC was not.

I don't think AU has any insiders anymore. Probably a result of the NCAA investigation. Not much correct info leaking out anymore.

"I'm very excited to have a coach like Brian VanGorder join our staff at Auburn. From the beginning of this process, I had one person in mind, and that was Brian," Chizik said. "He has achieved success at every level, both professionally and collegiately, which is a testament to his ability as a coach. He has been one of the best defensive coordinators in the NFL, has won a Broyles Award at the college level, and understands what it takes to succeed in the Southeastern Conference. We're pleased to welcome Brian and his family to Auburn."

I think the stat that he only allowed 30 points once in 4 years should be enough to get anyone excited. Granted, we had some talent, but still. We were going against some strong UT teams, a spurrier led UF team, national champion LSU, some strong auburn and bama teams, and some good bowl teams. During his era if we scored 20 points the game was basically over.
