It has already been reported by multiple people that there are ND boosters pushing to elevate him to HC, and the fanbase seems to want it badly.

I just dont see ND hiring a guy with zero head coaching experience. I think the obvious choise would be Fickell as HC and Freeman could either stay on as DC or most likely become HC at Cincy.
Hope im wrong and Kelly brings him here

I think the only way this happens is if Fickell wont accept the ND job because of the playoff. ND hires Campbell because they cant wait for Fickell. Maybe then Freeman comes but even then I think its a hard pull.
