I have zero questions concerning Kelly. He'd be an outstanding hire. And someone will get them and he will kick arse there.

My concern is that many think he's on the fast track to the NFL. If that's the case... it probably wouldn't take him long to depart from LSU...

im talking about how they dominated teams. they were going to have that year last year anyway. hawkins left them very good. he would have done the same if he was still there. also they play bad competition. they are just better than most everybody they play.

actually he is. is it that hard to see. i didn't say he was first in line or he would get it over miles. all made a simple truthful statement.

no, but for him to be the clear cut choice, he better be the cream of the crop

all people are saying is there are other candidates with similar resumes who deserve SERIOUS consideration if LSu goes that route, b/c many believe he is no better than other options in the same category

is hawaii supposed to be top talent? no. and my point about ian johnson is they all thought he was awesome because he did really well there and he has dropped off. and yes there was a big push to get his name out there

yes but there are other threads about coaches where people promote them are you going and telling them that that coach isn't the best. don't say im the only one saying the coach i want is the best. read around

okay, nevermind...i am done here

if you honestly believe kelly is a serious candidate for the Um job we just won't be able to discuss it

Um will say he is a serious candidate as they will say about other options in a negotiating tactic with miles salary, BUT there is 1 candidate right now....if anyone else gets the job it is b/c their candidate rejected them

when you play them on the island they are a MUCH better team

they are a bcs team this year whether you agree or not and traveling there is a task for any team

had they not lost to hawaii boise would probably be making a return trip to the bcs

we asked him and from what he says it is not a distraction

we were told they are all very focused, BUT very dissapointed

we were told there were alot of "what ifs" going on this week and when we asked what that meant(like players saying what if i did this or players saying what if coach did that) and the answer we got was that it was just happening alot

for whatever that is worth

no real news on coaching situation though

i agree miles will get offered but do you honestly believe that a big time school like that looks at one guy for the job. come on. and i have seen where he is a candidate. who knows who is a serious candidate or not. that's not the point. you can believe me or not but it doesn't make me wrong

i think, as i have heard on national radio talk shows and read in places before, that many people think kelly was the mastermind behind boise's success

i agree...i don't think he is ready...only 2 years being a head coach BUT he has been in the spotlight for 2 years

he has played (and won) some big time pressure games and has done so as a favorite, as an underdog and done so after he loses his starting qb....boise didn't really lose any ground this year

there is something about his attitude towards his players and they way they talk about him...his approach to playcalling, how in touch he is with his players (going for the 2 pt conversion in fiesta bowl) and his innovative thinking on offense that makes me think #1 he is a college guy first and foremost (i don't see any nfl threats) and #2 he is not afraid the tough call

alot of the same qualities that has made miles so great with a more wide open approach to offensive play calling all game, not just on 4th downs
