Peveto's "Purple Swarm" defense was ranked nationally in several statistical categories during each of his three seasons and four of his players earned All-America honors. The 1998 Northwestern State team went 11-3, reached the I-AA semifinals, and was ranked third nationally.

Under his direction, the Demon defense also set single-game records for fewest yards allowed, fewest rushing yards allowed, and most quarterback sacks. NSU also set school season records for most defensive touchdowns scored. In addition, the "Purple Swarm" also set season records for quarterback sacks in two of his three seasons, accumulating 52 in 1998 and 122 in the last three years.

During his stay in Houston, he had four players earn five all-conference awards while three were placed on the league's all-freshman squad. In 1999, the Cougar defense ranked 25th in total defense, 20th in rushing defense and 22nd in scoring defense and tied for 14th nationally with 28 forced turnovers.

Yes. Texas is also considering him for their vacant CO-DC position and will talk with him after the MNC game.

What if he brings the pick a random name out of a hat to be punt returner system to UT along with his patented technique of not blocking the gunners? UNSTOPPABLE.

Top that off with the punt coverage technique of teaching players to run 7 yards past the punt returner and then just stop and play with your balls?

Or the "who gives a frick about lanes" kickoff teams he brings?

Whew, i'm getting pumped just thinking about it.

You really think Bradley Dale Crappunt Peveto - the man who brought you an Ole Miss return for TD - would be a mediocre, much less decent, DC?

Please go cheer for Tulane, the only possible excuse for this line of thinking is that you are either:

1) stupid, stoopid or retarded
2) a fan of another school who is trying to subversively sabotage what LSU has become

Vote NO! to Peveto!

The VT HC is the special teams coach and his special teams looked great last night.

Burned on a fake punt, blocked FG, etc... and hes said to be one of the best in the business. Did ST cost him that game?
