Well, Auburn is located in Alabama last I checked.

I suppose the concern would be that he doesn't have significant recruiting ties outside of the state and Auburn MUST pull from places like Georgia and Florida (along with Alabama) to win. However, he could hire a staff with more outside connections. I can't think AU is eating Gus's buyout to half-arse the next staff.

He's not at the top of the list. But is he better than someone like Steele?
