I still think he stays but it is very fluid. No one know FOR SURE, not even miles. All I can say is that from what I've been told is that it seems like he is staying. There hasn't been serious talks with Michigan at all yet so a whole lot is still unknown.

I have personally witnessed Les Miles:

(1) Assess a set of facts and circumstances,
(2) Reach a conclusion and choose a course of actions seemingly devoid of all logic and reason given said facts and circumstances,
(3) Explain said choice in detail after the fact.

...and I still have no clue what he was thinking.

No one can say with any certainty even HOW Les will make a decision, much less WHAT decision he will make.

Les Miles played at Michigan. Les Miles coached at Michigan. To not even talk to them would be pretty damn rude, which Les Miles is not. He'll talk to them officially or unofficially. It's called class. Which Les Miles has.

I'd love to get belowpars take on it

My take is that Les is working with UM to throw everybody off the real trail. Both will benefit from this by getting what each party wants. UM wants no rebuttal from the gumps while the contract is still not signed and Les gets Saban out of the SEC west. If this is true then Les is one smart dude. JMO, so flame away.

So the bottom line is Les is on the fence and he hasn't spoken to them yet. Not a good sign, IMO.

Yeah. He has class. He's just dragging this process out longer than necessary by simply not making one public statement that would squash all of this talk and allow UM to move to Plan C.

I'm sure the face-to-face meeting is just to begin the talks...That's very difficult to believe.

In my opinion, belowpar is highly connected to LSU. I have no doubts. However, everyone at LSU is naive if they think this meeting is taking place without any prior contact between the two parties. A coach like Miles, with his connections to the university and with his public stature, doesn't just meet with his former alma mater to shoot the shite.

Everyone at LSU is being played. It's obvious.

Violation of Miles' contract.

His a big stickler for playing within the rules, so I don't see this
