Big difference when it was known Ed was a sinking ship than it is now.
Not saying we'd get him, but just because it didn't happen with Ed doesn't mean it wouldn't happen now.
But a coach did in fact turn down LSU to stay at Arkansas, yes?

Maybe maybe not. Big difference between O and BK.

Yeah go get a guy who loves playing zone to coach for a guy who likes playing man.
Weve seen this before with Pelini.

Don’t get the fascination over Odom.
He rarely blitzes. Every DC we’ve had since muschamp has rantards up in arms because they don’t send enough pressure

How did it go then?
From my understanding...yall contacted him and asked if he was interested....he told yall no, he was not interested in leaving Pittman for a DC position since he is a close and loyal friend of Pittman.
He is biding his time waiting for another head coaching offer.

It will be relevant to him when LSU is offering top coordinator money to not coach under a dumbass like O. He'll have full control here under a competent coach in BK with more talent than Arkansas. His career trajectory would go up at LSU.
If he wants a HC job he has a better career path at it in LSU. More talent, stock raises faster, more fertile recruiting grounds, etc. Arkansas he has the risk of running into talent droughts which won't be an issue at LSU. That could impact his stock if they have a few down years.

He is making the same money coaching with his friend who gives him full credit for the defense.
Watch Pittmans press conferences after a win....Pittman praises the guy.
Due to all the praise he gives Odom, I think Pittman is trying to help him get another Head Coaching position.

Look at all the scared piggies sniffing around the LSU CCB.
No one wants your shitty OC

LSU make him the highest paid if they want him and his career path is better at LSU. This isn't up for debate or opinion, it's fact. Coming down to choice if Arkansas matched, LSU is still his better play. The only way he'd stay is out of loyalty. That's hard to find these days when money and career paths are in play.
Just to be clear, I don't think BK will make a run for him but he'd be a good hire.

I’d rather have Jimmy Lake

Absolutely. Agreed. But stated somewhat Gumplike, My Man.

Like last year.....lol.
Offer him, then.....he would probably appreciate the pay bump Arkansas will give him.

Last year was a different scenario though. He would've made a move to O who he knew was on the chopping block. Moving to an unstable situation isn't smart as he could've ended up on the chopping block too even with good performance. BK isn't going anywhere anytime soon plus he has quite the coaching tree that has been plucked off for years. Like I said, it's a good move for his career path if LSU wanted him.
I don't think you have to worry about us attempting poach him though. Guess we'll find out. Let's be real, nobody wanted to coach under the retard O. They all knew he was gone sooner than later.

That's just a fairy tale you have created to justify why he told yall no.
