Sark tried hiring Muschamp, but he turned it down. Barry’s next in line.

Why the hell would Muschamp turn it down? Guess it impacts his USC buyout

Maybe waiting around to see the Harbaugh & Michigan situation unfold?

And I’d be happy for both Odom and Texas!

Maybe he didn’t enjoy his 1st stint in Austin.

I’m sure this plays a factor, too.

Is Odom trying to leave Arky?

I don’t think so, but money talks for some. Apparently not for all. I heard we put a feeler out for Brad White at Kentucky and he said he was happy where is, thanks, but no thanks!

I dont think he’s actively trying to leave. That attention he’s getting is coming from potential suitors. Dude was pretty solid at Arky this season.

Wonder if this is why O is now saying he likes Richard over Odom.

He finished 110th in total D and they gave up an average of 48.5 points the second half of the season. Is that your definition of pretty solid?

Would the available OC and DC candidates interview with all vacancies or pick the team/ pay of their choice?

F’ing Muschamp. Couldn’t have just made it easy on everyone and accepted a no brainer job.

Wonder if this is potentially a good indication that Freeman is the guy

Is it a no brainer? Austin has been a place for coaches to go and die since Mack Brown left

But it’s not like he’s some hot commodity either; so I’d say getting an opportunity to go back to a place he is familiar and a brand program to be a major DC should be a no brainer.
