That may be his best hire yet. Georgia has never had a problem getting talent their problem is that their coach just isn't a winner.

i honestly believe this is the beginning of the end for mark richt. the fans have long memories of lost opportunities and when his recruiting slips i think he's a goner.

He was paid when he was a player at Auburn.(Stacey) Danley is the assistant compliance guy, and he was paid when he was a player. I broke the rules. I said pay it off, and it will never happen again".

DING DING DING DING!!!!! We have a winner! Notice how TN's recruiting slipped just after Garner was hired away by Richt? GA now has a true Fulmer 2.0. He is quietly one of the BEST recruiters in the SEC.

Some of you guys never cease to amaze. First off, Rodney was hired away from UT by Donnan and was the lone holdover to Richt's first staff. (That statement alone shows your extent of knowledge to the subject) Second, if you feel that UGA's recruiting acumen will suffer as a result of the loss of RG, then you are seriously underestimating Grantham, McClendon, Bobo, and Lilly as recruiters.

Nevermind the fact that none of you even knows who Richt and Grantham have targeted to replace RG. Suffice to say it is a tad premature to throw dirt on Richt at the moment.

And here we go...I knew it wouldn't take long before he's the new Trooper.

Yep. First, it was Chette Williams. Then it was Trooper and Luper. And now it's Garner.

Nevermind the fact that bama has two guys on their coaching staff up to their necks in the Miami fiasco.

I will go under oath and say that Lowder looked me in the eyes and said, “I didn’t want Wayne to collect more money than we needed to pay the players.”

So why hasn't he even commented publicly about this alleged scheme in the 11 years since?

Bowden hasn't been at Auburn for 1.5 decades yet these tards still bring this shite up like it's relevant to anything going on right now.

Just leave it alone. Or point it out that the AD that landed them on 2 or 3 probations, and almost the death penalty, is still in charge.

So Tracy Rocker is still on the board for defensive line coach...

Interesting indeed.

i already told you the extent of my knowledge and you chose to ignore it. richt can't win the big one and losing rodney as a recruiter in the state of georgia just might sink him. i saw what happened to fulmer's talent when rodney left. fulmer had to switch his attnetion to south carolina and it worked until spurrier arrived. i fully expect AUBURN TO NAIL SOME BIG GEORGIA RECRUITS due exclusively to their new georgia recruiter and the loss of a handful of guys every year will be enough to sink the loser.

Lol at some of you idiots thinking this was a big loss for UGA. He hasn't been the ”bagman” in years. He may have been our 4th best recruiter the last 5 years. He's been passed by Bobo, McClendon, and CTG. We'll be fine without him. Hopefully we'll get a major upgrade and someone who can actually coach the line in the 3-4.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see who we hire. It's like the hot girl syndrome, some where someone is tired of her bs.
