Why do Bama fans want Auburn to keep Gus so bad? He’s one of the very few coaches who could actually beat them sometimes.

That’s a good question. However, if you are satisfied with 7 years of 4 losses in the SEC, you’re ole miss, state, vandy or mizzu. May not get a better coach, but the track record tells you what you get if you don’t fire him.
