you get like extra head coach recruiting visits when staff isnt full?
isnt that what was said last year when we waited to name co-dc's until after signing day????

probably, plus their is no reason to get in a big hurry. No telling who will be available in regards to NFL coaches. The man might be a good coach, but nothing about Brick haley's resume impresses me.

as long as Miles' isn't promoting his buddies, he's proven to make really, really good hires.
Let's just enjoy basketball, baseball, and recruiting and let Miles make whatever decision he deems is best. He's done a pretty good job so far.
Plus, what difference does it make if he announces it now or 4 weeks from now? I'm not gonna feel any better because I know 4 weeks earlier.

It appears DC has already been hired. He is in the recruiting process. Just has not been announced.

This is absolutely correct. If your staff is not full, then the head coach gets to take extra in-home visits in place of the departed coaches. Once the position is filled, the head coach does not get to take those "extra" visits any longer ... they must be made by an assistant.
