Charlie Mac was the winningest coach in LSU history and a lot of people were happy when he retired. Les had the highest winning percentage and people were ecstatic when he was fired. Fanbases are fickle.
Kelly is also technically the losingest coach in Notre Dame history.
But I am warming up to the hire. The more I think about it , the more I like it.
