Are coaches some slimy dudes or what?

I am beginning to think so.
Come on, they basically lie to their employees (student athletes) and their employers concerning their intent to stay in certain positions.
Deep down, they already know that if the right job comes calling they are a gone pecan.
Does this dishonesty make them some of the most deceitful folks earning 7 figures? I say so.
Come on, one freaking year at a school. If you cant do better than that, then you really need to reevaluate your priorities and your ability to committ to ANYTHING.
And it is not just Kiffin, it is just about the whole damn lot of them.
About time these universities get together and remind them that they are freaking FOOTBALL coaches.

Most are, yeah.
I will say, I honestly think Miles as the least slimy of the whole bunch...........which is partly why I get frustrated with him at times.

A good, or even ok coach can basically get away with murder.
Kiffin has showed nothing but the ability to recruit.
Miles would have bolted to Michigan if the timing had not been absolutely awful.
It seems they have zero concern for the impact of their decisions. And I am not talking about the fans, I am talking about the players...seems it sends an awful message to young men.

Why not NFL Owners and college Admins as well?

I basically excuse NFL folks.
As far as college Admins, I do have issue with the prompt dismissal of moderately successful coaches (Larry Coker for example).
I really admire the admins of places like Penn St and Fl St. Sticking with a guy through the peaks and the valleys. Wish more programs were run this way, not caving to the whims of a fickle fan base.

I believe this will create what is going to be known as the "Kiffin Clause" - Buyouts so high in the first years of a coach's contract that crap like this cannot and will not happen going forward. I hate TN, but this has to have blindsided them. Really shitty, Lane.
