That game will affect LSU’s seating and selection of their next head coach and possible seeding for the playoffs. Name me a bigger game this weekend?

Yes! I can’t think of any game with more implications for LSU and the playoffs.

I'm dispatching the fiance to Waco tomorrow to scope it out. See if she runs into Woody's wife at Magnolia

This Riley talk is fun and all but I'm still team folder or riot.

I have friends there also, who might be attending the game.

If Baylor wins we get Riley if Baylor loses we get Aranda so it's a win win situation for us.

That’s probably accurate.

For everyone hyped about Riley, what if Aranda wins? Do we get the better coach in Riley?

I'll be there! Will casually follow both Aranda and Riley around to see if there are any secret handshakes going on.

Good lord I hope not. Basing a hire off of one game?

and it's seeding not "seating" in this context

O beat Saban in 2019. Is he the better coach?

I believe OP is suggesting that if OU loses, then Riley may come to LSU ( his team is out of the playoffs). If OU continues to win, no way Riley leaves before the playoff run is over ( probably too late for LSU to wait)

I’m not on the Riley is coming train. But, I certainly get that a loss Saturday makes Riley “available “.

I can’t imagine it impacts any decision whatsoever. That would obviously be a very immature and non professional way to make decisions. These people involved aren’t children.

It’s seating the next coach or president not seeding. But I understand the confusion, I’m good at that.
