Les Miles - I know, I know, he’s been a Big Ten coach and maybe Minnesota is the perfect place for him to end his career. But he’s not coming here (and to be honest I’m not sure I’d want him over several other names).

I can see the large white hat with a Minnesota M on the front already. Miles as a gopher would actually be great to see. He can take a 9 win team and win another 9 games easy.

Dave Aranda has a good chance to end being the head football coach at LSU at some future point. IMHO, he is sort of a head coach in training at LSU, and I think he knows this.

It would be a mistake for him to take a HC job somewhere else when he's being groomed for the job at LSU.

They have a Canes about a 10 min walk from the stadium. I've been to it- people actually order the coleslaw

Orgeron is pretty young. You think Aranda's gonna stick around 10-12 years?

Yeah I just can't see aranda doing all the social and media obligations required of a head coach. I'll be a mess if he leaves us.

Do you think Orgeron will?

If im Aranda i jump at this, if they win 8-9 again and he guides that defense to a great season then he is looking at a bigger job the following year. Minnesota is his stepping stone, especially when a bigger job opens next year.

That scary feeling you get when you imagine this scenario is proof of the tight rope LSU decided to walk on by hiring O

This. I'll be a little on edge until all NFL DC vacancies are filled.

Aranda would be committing career suicide in taking that job. That job is toxic right now. I don't know who would want it at this point.
