Yes, only Harbaugh coming back to AA would get in the way of RR getting another year. At this point, this option is further away than most UofM fans are ready to admit.

What's this 'We' bullshite? You left and stopped supporting them years ago. And I think I remember you stating a year or two back that nobody but Ohio State fans on this board gave a shite about our rivalry.

I talked to a Michigan Fan yesterday at the Farmers Market and he says most fans want Rich Rod out immediately. After OSU's beat down yesterday I'm wondering if the fan discontent is strong enough to push him out?

I doubt this will be a decision based upon fan emotion. Either RR's attitude has worn thin with the administration, or the 'right' replacement can be had...otherwise, they roll the dice on another year.

Don't forget, there's still a lot of chapped asses in the AD for RR getting UM crossways with the NCAA. UM is VERY protective of its reputation and RR has sullied it.

Calm before the storm. I'm sure a few coaches have already been contacted. UM should make sure they have a replacement before they can him. Alleva should also have his list ready to go just in case.

My hunch is there is talk, just nothing coming out yet. There are rumors on Scike's board...nothing substantiated though.

Their fanbase is not supporting RR returning, though that probably isn't as important to their AD. I would expect the AD to publicly support RR sooner than later with the swirl of rumors going around...so longer that takes the more I think RR is done. Also wonder if Miami pulling their trigger last night causes Mich to accelerate things if the short lists are found to have common names.
