Any chance we fire Crowton and get a new OC before the bowl?

The level of dumb is getting more and more impressive around here... I'm still laughing about the comment that JJ "had a brain fart" and it cost us the Ole Piss game. There are some fricking geniuses around here.

This is my favorite time of the year to read the rant.

Kige has an IQ of 187 compared to some of these people.

Who were the DC's last year?

If Miles didn't replace them before the bowl, he's not going to replace an OC that's nowhere near in over his head as the two clowns that called defense last season.

It's not that far fetched.

On Tony Franklin:
quote:

After spending two seasons with the Trojans, Franklin was hired on December 12, 2007 by Tommy Tuberville to serve as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Auburn University. Franklin implemented his new spread offense with only 8 days of practice, prior to the 2007 Chick-fil-A Bowl. The new system proved quite effective as Auburn bested their season average in all offensive categories, posting 423 yards of offense (233 passing / 190 rushing), had 24 first downs and ran an 11-year high 93 offensive plays, all despite playing against the #6 defense in the nation.

I know Auburn's offense was terrible the following year, but it is evident that an offensive coordinator can have some success is a short period of time.
