First, this is not true. Only a few athletes don't perform well at the combine. If they don't, it's their own fault for inadequate preparation. LSU's job is not to prepare the players for weightlifting at the combine. How many bench reps a player max's out at is not necessarily the way to prep a player for the season, especially when LSU emphasizes explosive strength training.

These boards have some dumb motherfrickers. LSU has a lot of problems, TM is one of the least. He isn't the most sought after SC Coach simply because admins are ignorant. His SC programs have conditioned several NC teams long before LSU.
LSU was mediocre last year and looked overpowered directly because TM couldn't devote as much time to the team. This year he could and the conditioning was like night and day in difference. He deserves a raise if it takes keeping him. That goes for Wilson, Cooper and Haley on staff too.

haha. moffitt is going no where. He has litteraly turned down every division one job that has come up in the past 5 years
