LOL! Everyone has their price. Gundy us probably pissed he had to take a pay cut and apologize to his players for wearing an OAN tee shirt, when you know he wanted to tell everyone to frick off and who wants to agree to a pay cut?

Was the case when T.Boone and AD Mike Holder were there. TBP passed away and Holder retired. Gundy sort of won that power struggle and got a lifetime contract this season.

He and T. Boone were like oil & water. I can't think of any one coach having to deal with a more demanding booster than Gundy with Pickens.

The relationship with the university was much improved until this latest OAN shirt bullshite and Gundy was just hung out to dry. Publicly humiliated him and made him to take a pay decrease to keep his job. He deserved better than that.

They had the Boise game gifted to them by the refs and their schedule is Charmin soft. Big whoop.

As for actually taking Gundy away from Okie Light?

Good luck with that. He's spent over half of his life in Stillwater and all but 5 years in Oklahoma.

All seriousness, he gets more out of less than just about anyone. Stillwater oklahoma isnt the hotbed of talent, and no elite recruits want to go to school there.

Mike Gundy is great if you want to compete for the BIG10 title every 5 years or so. He’s also only won the conference title once in 16 years. Why some of you have a hard on for him is beyond me.
