Why wouldn’t they announce the hire then if it’s Aranda. Baylor can’t make the playoff, so why not announce it like Florida did with Napier and Aranda stay to coach the Big 12 game and then dip for the bowl game.

I’m not saying Rhule is anywhere close to being interested in LSU…but EVERYBODY thought Saban was an NFL guy…Bilicheck was his hero…from West Virginia …no ties at all to Alabama…and after just 2 years at Miami he heads back to College.

Baylor needed an Okie State win to make the B12 title game. They got that and now we have to wait a week. If they win they have a nonzero chance of making the playoff. What happens then?

Don't be surprised if Matt Cambell is in the mix. But the announcement would have to be tomorrow.
