Am I the only one that’s really not worried about this hire at all?

After seeing Les Miles and Ed Orgeron bumblefrick their way into a National Championship I’m just really not concerned.
Anyone out of Dabo, Riley, Jimbo, Aranda, Napier, Fickell, Tucker, Franklin, etc etc will be an upgrade over what we’ve had the last 16 years. And the last 16 years have been pretty damn solid football.
I, like everyone else, has my favorites but between knowing where we’re coming from coaching wise and knowing who is making the hire I’m really not worried at all.

We're in the position to make LSU a dynasty, expectations are high, with Scott at the helm I'm not too worried.

All you can reasonably ask for is a process that will result in the best hire that can be made. That hasn’t happened here very often and when it does we’ve had very good results so yeah I’m relaxed.

LSU has yet to hire its legendary coach or reach its potential over a sustained period of time. People are excited that this could be that time with Woodward at the helm.

I’m with you. Been saying since the announcement that I trust Woodward with this hire 10x more than anyone in recent years. Notice the lack of leaks and bad AD-related PR this time around? Not a coincidence since SW runs a tight ship.
People are going to melt regardless when it isn’t their “only one guy that can set the program right” but the reality is Woodward will overturn every stone and make it a true process. There’s 5-10 candidate names that would likely do very well here.
It may not be my #1 choice (Saban or Riley fwiw) but I know that whoever we wind up with will be the best he could possibly attain, and the coach will have my support.

I have been following LSU football since 1957 and have seen the AD's and BOS screw the pooch too many times NOT to be concerned about this coaching decision.
