Alright, so when are we going to hear something on the OC

situation? ( I need to hear the words, "no changes, or yes we are looking for a new OC", from the HC, because I assume he is going to make a change )
If Crowton comes back, I am seriously lowering my expectations for next year, and will go on record as saying Miles tunure at LSU will end after next season if he doesn't' find the right OC for next year. LSU fans have tasted the top for several years, and we know our football... This isn't Elite dominate football anymore. 2 years in a row.
Teams have scouted Crowton's offense, and we can't execute well enough against teams that pretty much know what play is coming..
time for a radical change, no matter the costs, because if we don't change, expect the same result which will cost us even more money and suffering.
I am a positive poster, usually, but I am done with Gary Crowton. I support Les, he is our coach, but ....another 4 loss season next year and I am done with him too. And the schedule looks tough to me...so he will have to earn that 3.7 million.
108th in total offense with Elite offensive Talent at RB , LT, TE, and WR positions is criminal

If we arn't changing the OC, then I expect more suffering.
Just think about how important the UNC game next year is for Les Miles..
He drops that game, he will be officially 100% done at LSU IMHO from an overall fan support standpoint.
UNC is a decent team too, but LSU is a program that should handle UNC...but if we don't and Les starts at 0-1, when really the expectations every year are 10 or 11 wins...we have been looking forward to the 2010 and 2011 seasons for 2 years, due to the QB position depth, experience problems..

IF you really believe this, in your heart and mind, you are destined to be terribly disappointed. My hopes that Crowton is gone are rapidly diminishing, and if I am sitting in the stands in Atlanta watching JJ as starting QB, then a .500 season enters my mind right then. An offense with Crowton and JJ is a 100th ranked offense, even if they were both here for a decade.

JJ has improved with every game he has played IMO. you can tell he has the raw abilities and instincts to be an above average QB. his lack of a deep knowledge of schemes, the playbook and reading defense is based on 1) age/experience and 2) coaching and QB development. No. 1 will take it's course naturally just as it does with all college QBs. No. 2 should be addressed and addressed quickly. because the offensive coaches are terrible.

this is idiotic beyond words. one loss will turn an entire university into a laughing stock? after a decade of winning SEC titles and 2 NCs? give me a fricking break. take a trip back to early 90s and MAYBE you'd see a laughing stock of a program. until LSU has multiple losing seasons it will always get respect in the SEC. just maybe not from some of its own fans (i.e. - your dumbass).

I think we should take on OCC good teams...I think the fan base is sick of playing cup cakes in Tiger Stadium (see second half attendance).
The problem is, UNC is legit on Defense and it's a neutral field.
And with our Offensive whoas....it won't be easy to win.

coming off of 2 poorly coached seasons with all the talent in the world and then having a coach who is incompetent and getting paid $4 mill/year, my friends that pull for other SEC schools are laughing their arse of at LSU. Especially the Ole miss fans because they got to see his intelligence up close...

Quite to the contrary. I have no belief that he has the instincts to play the position at an above average level. In addition to having no "feel" for the position, his mechanics and arm strength are suspect.

I'm all for getting rid of GC, and if Miles doesn't it will be a mistake...however, it's foolish to believe that he knows he should get rid of a coach but won't because their buddies. Keeping the guy you have is always an option if you can't find/afford/lure the guy you really want.
