Is O an upgrade from Miles?

I he brings in an OC that will evolve this offense and develop a QB then it absolutely is. And by all reports that is his plan.

That's a major "if" to wish for. If O's grand plan doesn't develop, then what.

What do you think it does to recruiting?

Well LSU went from an OC under miles making $1mill/yr to an OC under O making $300k/yr and broke the single game rushing record twice. Which Miles is known for running that ball.

And the offense got stuffed by any defense with any sign of a pulse and couldn't do anything but get that old "deer in the headlights" look. No thanks

Which is why I said they need to develop a QB. If this team had a QB that could of made 4 or 5 passes against Bama that game could of been completely different. You can't blame coach O and ensminger for the QB selection

I believe that we have him under a much more advatageous, LSU-friendly contract than we did Miles, and that he gives a bridge to the future.

I do not believe that he was hired for his "binder" or his "plans", or because he has earned our confidence, or his because of his ability to lure "sark" or "lane" to BR.

Orgeron is a transitional coach, a place-holder, a stand-in, a "hc-ino". Anything more is just so much "lipstick on a pig".
