This search is starting to become an embarrassment for UF
Y’all don’t even know the half of it. But you wouldn’t believe it either way because of your “we’re better than everyone else attitude”.

Oh yeah I did read that. I’d never choose Arkansas over Florida, BUT apparently that man has other deciding factors. Perhaps he likes cooler temperatures.

Can’t believe Scott Strickland is still hanging around there !!

If Kiffin and Dillingham don’t work out I’d still be extremely happy with Golesh
My preference would have been a young up and comer like Golesh or Dillingham or Schumann but once the Governor started braying the search was limited to big splash hires. Kiffin's behavior only makes sense if he's coming. If he's not it's a frickin' mess..

Not only is his wife and Arkansas alum and fan, her businesses are all located in the state and her parents are still in greenwood who have held season tickets for 40 years.
Happy wife happy life. He’s been our #1 target from day one.

Turns out that getting rid of a failure of an AD should be the prerequisite before hiring a new football coach. Good job, LSU for avoiding the disaster that Florida is dealing with.

Stricklin definitely seems to be the only one benefiting from all of this.
Lock him up!

How does Arkansas have better boosters etc? Not Florida football knowledgeable but I would think UF>FSU>Ark.

FSU is a better job than Florida
Arky has some sentimental value for goleshs wife and family

Alex Golesh turned down UF offer
Unbelievable!
So y'all are lower down the pole than the hogs?
quote:
Veteran Tampa sportswriter Kevin O’Donnell tweeted Wednesday evening that Golesh had not agreed to take the Arkansas job and was waiting to make his decision until Sunday.

HawgSports’ Trey Biddy reported Thursday morning that Arkansas had reached an agreement in principle with Golesh, though nothing had been signed.
Rumor is his agent is still shopping.

Brother Finch,
You’re forgetting about our numerous debacles centered around Herman, Jimbo, Lincoln Riley even to a degree. We’re not the epitome of great coaching searches over the past 10 years

For UF? As if LSU isn’t an utter and complete embarrassment right now?
