Tom is 41

Ed is 55

Is this another reason people like CEO over Herman?

Jimbo Fisher is 50 and proven at an historical P5 powerhouse. No brainer. Did I mention that he's an offensive gura and a QB whisperer? His last three have been 1st round draft picks...

I just don't understand why so many people don't want him.

You mean the older a coach the better he coaches? I would go for Bowden or Tom Osborne then.

I'd take Fisher over Ed mostly because of his offense.

I'd take Herman over Fisher though.

I believe Herman has the potential to bring LSU an offense as good as Steve Spurrier's / Urban Meyer's. How exciting would that be to see at LSU.

Not really, seems like a guy like Herman with multiple OC jobs would be better experienced, more exposure to other programs, more diverse.

My only knock against Jimbo is that he runs a pro style offense, which plays directly into the hands of the team LSU is trying to catch.

However, at least Jimbo would be capable of making in game adjustments. Unlike Miles and the shite show we saw on Saturday.

55 isn't too old. A coach is rarely going to stay more than ten years anyway. At 60 I would start having questions about how long a guy wants to continue coaching.

It's an updated pro style offense with spread concepts. Watch them play. Their offense barely resembles ours.
