Of course, I really don't think Nick is coming back to LSU, but for hypothetical purposes, what if he does leave Bama...who does Bama go after?

They exhume the bear and prop him up next to the water cooler and let one of the assistants call the plays....but boy he will smell kinda bad

Considering that not even Bevis and Butthead would take the fricking job, that would truly be a good question. That program would definitely be in one major disarray.

Actually, I think you might be correct.
(I second the notion that Saban's not going anywhere though)

Maybe so, but a good hire could save the day, especially if their current recruiting class stays loyal to the school...

The only person that can truly give the Gumps what they really are asking him to do is the other St. Nick, the Real St. Nick, aka Santa.

Impossible. I believe Croom has a clause that prevents going to ANY other SEC school.

Not that Alabama would even make an attempt. Too much water under the bridge with some of the comments since he was spurned.

Nah - then the new guy would only be winning with Saban's players.

Not impossible. With the way the coaching carousel is going this year in the SEC, anything is possible.

They'll just exhume the Bear and 'Weekend at Bernie's' him...seems to be the only their fanbase will be satisfied.

I have a very reliable source that says Mal Moore has been talking to Pete Carroll and hammering out the details of a $4.9mil/year contract.
