There are 3 for sure and 1 on the fence being retained for the new coach to decide on who he wants.

Davis and Raymond are two of the three I’m guessing. Can’t really say anyone else can’t be easily replaced but then again I’m outside looking in.

We did (absolute home run) but he is backing off due to the admins pressuring him to retain 3 coaches on the current staff.

You also know it signifies his interest in getting back into the game. He retired because he didn't want to die the way his father did, Obviously he has changed his mind by taking the Dallas job.

PLUSSSSSSS, he left OK making about $5M a year. I would imagine almost doubling that is awfully appealing. Any man with children isn't pissing that away, if

Him coaching in the xfl and college are two totally different animals.

On top of that woodward is not hiring bob stoops.

i'd replace davis with joseph. davis i think would be the on the fence guy.

it would be hard to find a better nola recruiter than joseph.

If it’s Jimbo the Aggie melt would be glorious. Wouldn’t be my top choice due to his offense but we could do far worse.

I just don't see jimbo's offense ever winning a championship in this day and age of offenses.

If the coach that SW hires is in the CFP or involved in the NFL playoff, it will probably be quiet until the playoff is over. The JJ hire was not announced until the CWS was over.

The 3 or 4 coaches to me would be
Raymond
Joseph
Mcmahon(if the new coach wants a real special teams coach)

Who the frick has Jimbo worked with on our current staff?

I'm sure they weren't talking about Moffitt. So...no one. I don't see how this points to Jimbo. Aranda makes sense. Not Jimbo, though.

It’s not Jimbo. It’s probably Riley, Aranda, and Kiffin with Napier 4th

I think it bodes well if it is Aranda. Woody saw him up close. He was the associate head coach for 2018 and 2019. If Woody feels comfy with him, we could have our dynasty coach.

I think it’s one of these 4:

-Stoops
-Aranda
-Napier
-Jimbo

(In that order of likelihood, NOT my wish list, although Aranda and Napier are on my wish list albeit at the bottom of it)

I don’t think it’s Jimbo due to the fall out last time his name was tied to the LSU opening. I think (and hope) it’s Aranda. Wish he would have gotten a shot in 16. All my speculations though. I think Jimbo is the smokescreen

It's not necessarily what I want, but I just feel more and more with every day that passes is that it's going to be Jimbo, like I said not necessarily what I want, it's just a gut feeling I have. Realistically I'd probably be ok with any one of the 4 coaches you named.

The 3 coaches that are quite literally telling the recruits that they will be staying.

My guess:

Raymond
Davis
Carter

4th: Baker or Joseph

On the fence with Moffitt.
