Need to consider both. Either of these two would be a good choice and definitely know how to teach quarterbacks.

Jimbo is the best cfb qb coach in the country. Peterson and Herman only if Jimbo turns Lsu down which I pray does not happen.

Really asking, why Jimbo first? I understand his record with coaching up QBs but anything else?

Not saying the man is garbage, he's a great coach.

But for me, Herman, blowing out Florida State in their bowl game last year, then destroying OU in their opener this year, it's hard to not want that guy.

Houston (the city) is chock full of great players, that's not a secret.

But the way he coaches is just incredible. They haven't missed a beat.

We'd be extremely fortunate to land either Herman or Jimbo. Both are great recruiters who develop QBs. I could see both of them being extremely successful at LSU.

Uhh a recent National Championship, a playoff appearance, and three conference championships?

You're reading too much into those losses. FSU won't give Jimbo any money for assistant coaches. Their defense isn't too good. Imagine what he could do with Aranda.

Fair enough. I was just asking. Don't get all riled up now.

What has Jimbo Fisher accomplished outside of the two Jameis Winston years? His teams are sloppy and undisciplined and exhibit many of the same weaknesses as Les Miles' teams. His teams do not bring their "A" games each week.

Jimbo is a top 3 coach in the country. Jimbo knows the culture at Lsu he checks all the boxes especially with qbs and offensive play calling. He will not run off to the pros or Ohio state if the opportunity should come.

If Herman lands in BR he's there 4 years tops.

Who else is ahead of Jimbo?

IMO every coach in cfb is light years behind those 2 except Jimbo. He's maybe a step or 2 behind them that's it.

Does not bother me one bit because I don't think he (Peterson) could handle southern Louisiana at all.

Who is after Meyer and saban?

It has to be Jimbo in my opinion.
