If a new DC is hired, would Miles keep BDP & DM?

Adding to that, are there any specific names for a potentially new DC?

Let me try this:

Washington- Phil Fulmer (could Saban be a possibly with Emmert there???? He did bring him to LSU. He wouldn't have as much pressure there, not as much tradition, wouldn't live up to the shadow of the Bear, and he would not be coaching in the SEC)

K-State- Gary Patterson

Tennessee- Lane Kiffin

Clemson- Brian Kelly

I think if Rodriguez decides to leave Michigan after the worst season in Michigan history and goes to Clemson, then Miles is gone to Michigan. If Rich leaves (could be pushed out), Michigan knows they made a mistake and will push as hard as ever to get Miles to go. I think it could happen. Miles has had a rough year and he will have lost a lot of the players from the National Championship year. It would be easier to win the Big 10 every year than the SEC. The QB situation will be up in the air and he could suffer another year like this one.

Michigan knows what Miles has done at OSU and LSU. They also know that it is his alma mater and he would stay. Rodriguez may not be able to take the pressure of the Michigan faithful after this year. The tradition at UM is much stronger than at Clemson. Plus, he would be recruiting the same general area he was at West Virginia. I don't know if Saban would come back if he was offered. I know him and his wife loved LSU and wish they could have come back when he left Miami. I am not sure LSU would want him back. The way they are playing this year, I bet Bama would fight very hard to keep him there. Should Rodriguez leave for Clemson and Miles to Michigan, who would you want to replace Miles?

I don't know if Miles keeps the 2 on staff or not, but i'm pretty sure the scale has tipped over.
