I’ve only read Killing Jesus, but I enjoyed it and the maps that he used to help the story.

Neat. So where do you wait tables?

Yeah, O'reilly only has 1 history degree. Do you know more or less as as you get more history degrees?

Only read Killing Kennedy. He focused his research on a small part of what is known about individuals involved, and ignored things considered important by authors who were much better researchers, Critical mistake for someone writing in the absence of any first hand source material. Before I read Kennedy I probably would have looked at others in the series, but wouldn't bother now.

I went into Killing Kennedy with very, very low expectations because I thought it would be Fox News O’Reilly, but it was very professional and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I listened to the audiobook on a road trip.

They're OK if you like history lite type of reading. But nothing that hasn't been written before.
He's capitalizing on:
- Not many people have read much history beyond school so they feel like they're learning something new with him,
- He has name recognition that will sell books.

He's a good talk show host, though. I enjoyed watching the Factor. I heard recently he's on Newsmax TV; plan on checking him out there.
