It's hard to say. The whole hospital thing with Beth wasn't in the comics at all.
The cannibal storyline started in issue 61 so that may be a good starting point.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the bat. Who knows who will get the treatment, though. The show likes to switch up who it is and use the same method.

My prediction is that Kirkman is doing it on purpose to try to make it obvious that Glenn will die that way and will kill Daryl instead of Glenn when the time comes.

Daryl in the show is more on the level of Glenn in the comics when he took the bat to the face, but I just don't see them getting rid of Daryl.

I only read the synopsis. The issue won't make it to the interwebs until next week. There seems to be some pretty good stuff in this issue but nothing major.
