The Fourth Option, by Jack Carr

For the James Reece fans amongst us, Jack Carr’s new series following Chris Walker (another former SEAL) is fantastic. As a bonus, this first novel is set in New Orleans, so the scene is very familiar (if a little exaggerated).

Definitely got sick of the AI storyline for Jack Reece , seems that story is concluded so he can move to other things
Hope this one is as good as the previous Reece books
His Beirut nonfiction book was stellar. I learned so much in it . Seemed like he’s gonna sprinkle in more of these type of books as well with his fiction series

Yeah, I read the last couple because I felt obligated to.
This one feels fresh and familiar at the same time. Certainly worth the read for Carr fans.

I enjoyed the audiobook. Have listened to it twice now.
It’s nothing incredible or must read, but if this genre is your thing it’s worth an add to the bookshelf. I have the hardback, but enjoy listening to ray porter narrate — especially Jack Carr content. I do consider it a quality performance.
I did appreciate the few LSU mentions. I feel like someone more familiar the city of New Orleans will perhaps appreciate the landmarks/local setting.

Read it in the matter of a few days. Loved the storyline with the dog. Took a break from my late to the party tear through the Mitch Rapp universe to read it. Hope we get more Chris Walker material. Loved the LSU references as well.
