Sigma ForcePosted by Badbilly1974 on 12/21/17 at 10:18 pm

I'm looking for a new author/series to follow and, by sheer happenstance, picked up a copy of Demon Crown in an airport. I didn't realize until I started read it that it is part of a series. Two questions for anyone who has read the books. First, is it necessary to read them in order? Two, if so, is it worth getting invested in the series?

I love these books. Not necessary to read them order but you definitely get more of the back story in the earlier books.
You’ll find most of this series has some sort of supernatural bent.
Demon Crown is in my shelf to read. It’s in my roatation with about 20 others.

Haven't read Demon Force, but have read most of the early books in the series and other non-Sigma Force Rollins books.
Fun reads. I feel like the earlier stories were a little tighter, and some of the later ones would have a Velveeta level cheesy moment or two, but still enjoyable.

Not necessary, but there is a lot of back story you won't really get, especially in Demon Crown.
I enjoyed the whole series, and I liked following it in order.

I agree with this.
