Riyria Revelations is the most enjoyable series i've ever read

the troll banter between the 2 main characters seems more like real life than most series.plus michael j sullivan developed 5 great accomplices to the main characters
but by far the pacing on these books is a amazing. the audiobooks are 20 hours and they feel like 5 or 6. anyway, check out the goodreads reviews if anyone is interested. start with theft of swords

It is an excellent series, one of the best in the rogue/thief/shyster fantasy genre along with Lies of Locke Lamora (and unlike that series, Riyria doesn't fall off a cliff and stays consistent throughout).

I enjoyed them too. I always pictured Royce as Inigo Montoya (Princess Bride)- I have no idea why.

Yup, great series. It definitely doesn't feel like your "traditional" fantasy series in terms of dialog and pacing, but Sullivan makes it work beautifully.

Man thanks for this. Just started the first one on audible after seeing this and enjoying it a lot. Like it better than Lamora series from the jump.

The GOAT narrator does an amazing job with the dialogue between Royce and Hadrian.
