Is there any difference between Dark Matter and "Dark Matter (Movie Tie-In)"? Can't find anything on google about it. The version available at my library is Movie Tie-In.
TIA

Haven’t watched the TV series but I have to imagine they are fairly similar.
The book was incredibly superficial and read like a screenplay more than a novel.

Sort of agree. Really enjoyed the book but, like a lot of crouch books you wish there was more time to explore the world or to have better narrative or story ideas along the way. His main worlds and ideas are fantastic but always feel like he could have fleshed things out more. Stil highly enjoy his work but the narrative pace drives things.

I wanted to like it. I absolved the concept but felt it was poorly executed.
Almost like someone else wrote an incredible sci fi novel and all we got was Crouch’s summary of it.

I enjoyed the book as a fast moving thriller. I am trying to finish the Hyperion series and there is too much "fleshing out" in those books (4 at 500+ pages each). The science behind the premise is preposterous so you need to suspend disbelief.
