Hello all, I'm not going to start reading this thread until I am done with book 4 and 5, which I am reading at the same time right now. I have a quick question about a chapter I'm not sure I am understanding...
In A Dance With Dragons, Tyrion, pages 238-240, is Tyrion saying Young Griff is actually Prince Rhaegar's dead newborn that people thought The Mountain killed?

Sorry, what did you say? I blacked out when I heard that Martin was signing books in France and not sitting behind a typewriter eating Cheetos and banging out the remainder of TWOW, ADOS, his next 37 novellas and book #8 TBNL.

You do have to make sure that you are converting the file to to mobi so that it will work on the kindle. I had that problem when I was trying to send my complete calvin and hobbes collection to my kindle. I kept sending it but I couldn't find it.
Also there are multiple ways to send it. Sending it directly via usb is one way. The other is to send it through email to your kindle email address. That sends it straight to you your kindle. If you don't know your kindle email address, go to your amazon .com account and go to "manage your content and devices". It will be on the "your devices" tab. Make sure though that the email you are sending it from is on your approved document email list. You can add approved emails by clicking the settings tab on the "manage your content and devices" page. Just keep scrolling down until you see personal document settings.
ETA: BTW Calibre is a fricking awesome program. Once I got it all figured out it was easy.
