Crow's Eye. I think both Tommen and Stannis die in the next novel, while the Crow's Eye will live on.

It's not often you see a discussion in the Hodor thread that would make good grist for a Crackpot thread discussion. But their recent posts about the White Walkers got me thinking it might be interesting to hash some stuff out about them.

- What is their motivation? Do they want to "rule" the entirety of Westeros? Do they have some kind of civilization? Or are they just hungry for some people? (I've kind of thought it wouldn't be out of the realm for GRRM to give them some type of sympathetic motivation in the long run. That's a long shot though I guess.)

- How many White Walkers are there? And what is the percentage of them to wights? Seems like from what we've been shown so far there have been more wights. Are the White Walkers a fairly small group?

- How far south can they go and still thrive? Will Dorne get cold enough in the Winter to attract them? What about places like the summer islands? And can they get to Essos?

Their motivation is revenge for something. What that is, I have no idea.

I definitely think this Winter is going to spread throughout Westeros, and as far south as Dorne. It'll definitely reach King's Landing if we are to believe the House of the Undying scene from the show (with the throne room in ruin and the presence of snow).

That is the biggest question I have about the entire series. Are they like biblical cleansers when shite goes wrong in the real world? To purge the world of sin and evil?

This will be a severe winter and it wouldn't surprise me if a harsh Winter reaches Dorne.

Yeah, I think its certainly possible that Cersei will succeed in what Aerys didn't in burning King's Landing to the ground.
