When you say e-book, do you mean Kindle/Nook? Or, do you mean that George will release all 7 books on Kindle/Nook but combined into roughly one big-arse, 6,000 paged book?
I've got the first 5 slightly combined, and it's over 7000 pages.
But yeah, that's what I mean. Rename to prologue chapters into something else, like with ASOS name the first chapter "The Leacher's Son".

It'd be interesting if he combined them chronologically.
But that'd be one huge arse file on an eReader. I think the Nook has a size limit on what you can add beyond purchased books. And it'd be $150+ easy to purchase.

The first 5 aren't even close to being that expensive. Cost be $40.

Naw, $40 or so.
The box set of 4 books is $20, box set of 7 will probably be $30.

I recommend 'liking' the Petry Baelish Littlefinger Facebook page...lots of on-set pictures for Season 4 and cast pictures. Very interdasting.

Depends on what they add when they combine them. I've seen other series do the same and jack up the price for a "special edition" deal.
But like I said, it'd be a huge huge file.

how is Jon's rule on the night watch gonna tie into the war with the others + war for the throne? i think everyone can agree he was the "favorite" character and he has had so much development.
i can't see him just being like frick the wall i want the throne. maybe henwill head south and frick up the boltons but i dont see him heading any further south unless he combines forces with littlefinger and sansa in the vale. then that leaves stannis, dany, and aegon to divide the south? stannis will have to die. because he will never bend the knee, i just wonder how his death will come, where the frick davos is, and how Aegon and Dany can even get along

My theory is that Jon will leave The Wall and head to Winterfell to sort through "Ramsay's" letter and kick Bolton arse. Jon will also go down in the Winterfell crypts and find out what his recurring dream has been telling him. In the midst of all of this, I think he'll meet Howland Reed in TWoW and find out about the Tower of Joy, how Rhaegar was his father, Lyanna was his mother, how Ned and Howland had to figure out how to protect Jon, etc. I believe Jon is going to feel a lot of mixed emotions, especially if he finds out that R&L were married, and try to figure out his identity.
No, I definitely don't see him pulling a Dany or Stannis and saying "The Throne is mine by rights!!111" but he is, without a doubt, going to leave The Wall in book 6. I think that the battle of the Others vs. Westeros will occur at the Trident but not until the end of book 6/start of book 7.
I think Stannis will definitely die for sure...I think end of book 6/start of book 7.
IMO, Jon has the best shot of being reunited with Rickon and/or Sansa. Littlefinger will die at the end of book 6 or sometime in book 7, if the kingdom is to ever have peace and unity.
Davos was sent by Wyman Manderly to fetch Rickon in Skagos since one of the Ironborn confirmed that he saw Rickon there. Wyman told Cersei that he killed Davos and hung him (confirmed by Freys who were in attendance). The actuality is that the "Onion Knight" was a decoy, so that Wyman could get his son back from King's Landing where he was held hostage.

Because Jon won't win the Iron Throne through conquering and marching south on King's Landing. He will win the Iron Throne by saving the realm.
Here's how I think the stage will be set at the end of WoW: Littlefinger and Sansa will take out the Twins and be crowned the Queen in the North, with the Vale and the Riverlands also joining her. Once that happens, Aegon will take out the Lannisters and be king on the Iron Throne. The realm at large will then believe that they were merely trying to eradicate Cersei and that Sansa will gladly come back into the fold now that Rhaegar "born-again" has come onto the Iron Throne. The South will be concerned with Dany's arrival and that Sansa and Aegon must unite to defeat her.
Dany will have a particularly bad reputation when she arrives in Westeros, being nicknamed the Mad Queen. She has left Meereen in ruins, has an army of barbarians, Ironborn, more hungry mouths, and of course the Imp who has an equally bad of a reputation. No one in the South will give Dany a chance and think she's evil incarnate.
Meanwhile, the South is blissfully ignorant of the shite storm that is going on in the North. The only thing that they know is that the Boltons are now dead and that the Watch is making up bullshite rumors in order to lure Aegon and Sansa north to destroy their armies, making Stannis' ascent to the throne that much easier.
Dany, knowing of her reputation and fear from the realm at large, then must march North in order to save the realm from the Others. Eventually, Jon and Dany's army will merge, and once Littlefinger is eliminated, Sansa's will join forces with them as well. A final end all battle will occur (hopefully on the Trident, which would be awesome), and the Others will be defeated once and for all. I think Dany will be killed by sacrificing herself, and Jon will do the finishing blow. Jon is now known as Jon Targaryen, and the people will quickly turn on Aegon who merely sat on the throne and has been outed as being a Blackfyre. Aegon is then basically effortlessly defeated, with Varys escaping.

I don't think Jon will leave the Wall until it comes crashing down and he has to retreat. Plus I think Ramsay is going to come to him, and his arrival will have particularly bad timing in that the Others are climbing over/destroying the Wall. My prediction for Ramsay is he's taken by the Others, and then we'll see him again as a wight in the final book.
As for how he finds out, I think he will have to march South, and it will be easy due to the swamps being frozen over entirely. He will run into Greywater Watch and then find out from Howland Reed himself.

Thematically, I think Arya and Jon must reunite again as well. I'd be incredibly disappointed if they don't.
And I see Littlefinger dying in the first 1/3 of ADOS. I just really want it to come to a three way showdown of wits between Tyrion, Littlefinger, and Varys and one of them wins due to their wits alone.

I'd love to see Arya and Jon meet again, but I think Arya is toast. She's so fricked up, no way she can live to the end of the series. It's going to make me sad for sure, but I think she is the most doomed out of Bran, Rickon, Jon, Sansa. Although, I'm not sure Bran will come out beyond the Wall again. I'd love Arya to kill Varys in one of her 'disguises'.

Re: Bran
After my most recent CoK reread I keep coming back to Jon's chapter where he "dreams" of Bran talking to him via the Weirwood. He notes the smell of death there. I'm convinced Bran "dies" and becomes part of the ol' ASOIAF Weirwood Network.

How low do y'all think Dany will have to sink in the next book? Personally I think she will have to leave Meereen as a ruin, with most the people killed within. Plus I think she's going to overthrow her husband, and then come back with a Dothraki Khalisar and a bunch of Ironmen who are not at all popular right now in Westeros. Not to mention Tyrion himself being with her, and everyone in the Seven Kingdoms thinks of him as the vilest man alive.

Not sure I would go that far, neither Tywin nor Joffery were particularly well liked outside of the Lannisters. Most of the major players outside of the Lannisters and possibly the Tyrells flat out hate the Lannisters.
It will be interesting to how it shakes out with Dany. She swore vengeance on those khalasars, so I'm not sure how easy it would be for her to lead them. She's definitely going to have to make some interesting decisions.

My fingers are crossed that when she mounts Drogon and rolls up that things will go for the better for her. Because if it doesn't my annoyance of her character might reach epic levels.

I've been starting to think that Dany will go back to the East and rule there after everything is said and done. I say that cause I don't think she'll rule Westeros, but I don't see her dying either...unless she's Nissa Nissa.
I believe 100% Jon is King because he saves everyone.

I can't wait to see Hodor reactions to Dany in the next 2 seasons...unless the writers do some major white-washing and change up a lot of her storyline. I'm curious as to how Tyrion killing Tywin and Shae is gonna go down. Shae needs to die in the show like she did in the book. I think one of the biggest mistakes of the show is giving Sibel Kekilli too many speaking lines.
ETA: So since most of us think Jon will become King due to saving the realm, do you think he'll know his parentage before becoming King, or after? And is Fat Man gonna finally do the big Maury reveal in TWOW?

Just realized something: Theon killed his bastard sons. He had sex with the Miller's wife, and they became his bastard sons. Can't believe I didn't make the connection until a reread.

Before. Jon will soon meet Howland Reed, pretty much the only major character we have yet to meet.

Blue boy...
What I said didn't spoil anything in that Middle Ground thread and isn't ban worthy. Hoping the admins know that if blue boy goes to the Help Board.
