I was wondering if A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms or Fire & Blood are worth the purchase?
Anybody in here read either of them?
Also any other Martin recommended material would be appreciated

I really enjoyed A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and would reccomend it. Never read Fire and Blood

Knight is definitely worth reading, all the dunk and egg novellas are great.
I haven't read fire and blood, but the parts of it I read from short story collections was average. Reads more like a history book.

Knight is great. I highly recommend it. Fire & Blood was just okay. Much of the information was already known.

World of Ice and Fire is worth getting too.

Well I just finished the Dunk and Egg books and they were fantastic. I really liked all the Targaryen characters in it. It kind of fleshed out what that family, in it’s prime, looked like
From my understanding, Fire and Blood seems to be like The Simarillion like Dunk and Egg was The Hobbit. And I fricking hated the Simarillion so...
I guess I’m shite out of luck and have to wait for the next books like everyone else now

If you are finishing up Dance with Dragons, just hold out for Winds. Should be out in a couple months or so.

I will not be purchasing any other GRRM materials until the series is finished.

Some of his best work since the first ASOIAF novel. Tight narrative. Focused. I really enjoyed it.

Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a great read.
Fire and Blood is good, but not on GOT level. Its a captivating story, but its a history and at times reads like a history. Knight I read straight through. Fire - I've put down and picked back up several times.
