The Houston Texans have released QB Ryan Mallett after missing the team flight to Miami this past week (he then flew commercial). Reportedly, head coach Bill O'Brien tried to cut him before Sunday's game, but GM Rick Smith wouldn't let him. The Texans then went out and got beat up by the Dolphins 44-26. O'Brien gone? Is the former Arkansas QB Mallett done with the NFL? Thoughts? Brian T. Smith of the Houston Chronicle didn't hold back...
