Someone who isn't a fan of the Cleveland Browns, broke into their stadium and left their mark right before the holidays. Per News 5 Cleveland...
quote:

The field at FirstEnergy Stadium was damaged early Tuesday morning by someone driving around on the Browns’ home field.

It's not clear what type of vehicle was used, but tire treads wind out from the 20-yard line in the shape of a golden spiral, spanning almost the entirety of the western side of the field. Some of the ruts left behind appeared to be significant in some places.

How much time do you have to have on your hands to plan and do this. Not to mention the risk/reward is unfavorable.

That is called "trenching", not turfing. Turfing sounds like someone broke in and laid some sod.

That's what I thought. Someone had a real problem with artificial turf.
