So a coach acts like an actual man and the media loses their minds. Typical.

Yep, this happened five times a day during peanut football practice when I was in 5th grade. Everyone is so soft today.

So every one of my football coaches, and my dad, would have been thrown in prison. My dad got his chin stitched closed on the sideline in jr high and went back in. Pussies

What a bunch of punk asses everyone has become. It has only been what about 5-6 years since the targeting rule and you would think there should be a penalty anytime someone delivers a hard hit now from the reaction of the fans. People used to live for those hits. People should get hurt while playing football, it has always been a part of the game. There is a difference between physical and dirty and the players know the difference. At least they used to.

Agree or not. Coaches hitting players has been an issue for the past 30 years- in terms of being reported in the media. Don't act like this being an issue is something new. (this is to you posters talking about what society has become).
