"Im sure this has more to do with the first 2 letters of your username than the issue itself. It probably also has to do with you being a bitch."

While the first 2 letters in my username insures that I hate all things Fsu. the reason for the response on this issue is that I was a Arkansas State Indian, who are now ASU Red Wolves because the NCAA made universities with Indian names change them, except for the bigger schools that had the clout to fight it. They should not have changed any of the mascot names or all of them, just saying. "Gator bait" is probably the best nickname for Fsu anyway.

I agree with UFMatt. Other schools have been forced to change their mascots due to Native Americans complaining about them being offensive. Florida State should have to fall in line with the rest. I personally think it's stupid, but if some schools have to do it, all schools should have to do it. As far as I'm concerned, for instance, the Stanford Cardinal will always be the Stanford Indians. I wouldn't be shocked if schools or pro teams with names like Demon Deacons, Saints or Angles are next to be targeted by the whiners who are so easily offended.

"I hope this is sarcasm. The Seminole tribe has approved FSU's use of the name. And Indian mascots aren't offensive to the vast majority of Native Americans, it's only the very vocal minority that makes waves."

Tell that to the long list of NCAA schools that were forced to change their names. It was BS, but should have applied to all NCAA schools or none. None would have been my choice because of the reasons you gave.

I would like the helmets more if they were solid garnet and not half black
