ESPN Highlights Clemson WR Tee Higgins's Drug Addiction On Draft Graphic, Later Apologizes
© Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports
During this weekend's NFL Draft, ESPN put up a graphic for Clemson WR Tee Higgins after getting drafted by the Bengals. In the graphic they highlighted the poor kid's battle against drug addiction for some reason...

Later they apologized. ESPN vice president of production Seth Markman told the Washington Post...
quote:

“It was a mistake and we apologize for it,”...“We want our draft coverage to personalize players and, where appropriate, acknowledge the obstacles they’ve had to overcome on their journey to the NFL. This graphic lacked proper context.”

That's ESPN's fault for trying to turn every single draftee into a Tom Rinaldi story.

It's sad that this guy is allowed to post like this. It devalues the standard and the quality of the site. Does he have pictures on someone? Maybe a relative that someone feels sorry for?

They’re awful at providing content. The other day sage Steele asked booger if Miami should medical redshirt tua. Reminded me to not watch this channel.

That kind of "reporting" is stupid. It add nothing. Saw that type stuff a few times during the draft and needs to disappear.

Wait. His mom wasn't a drug addict? If she was, then ESPN did good by not saying she was a crack whore as well.
